Allan was born in Stirling, Scotland, at 3.00pm. His pet hate is bad time keeping. He began entertaining at a very young age and has been professional for more than 25 years. Described by one reviewer as a lanky comedian, with a laid back vocal style. He takes his guitar wherever he goes and has been known to burst into the odd Shadows tune. As relaxation he plays golf, thinks the gadget show is compulsive TV, he loves anything with buttons. He lives in Devon with his wife Jenna and three daughters Isla, Stephanie and Kira, not forgetting Tess the Springer Spaniel. A good night in would be with Jenna, a glass of whisky and back-to-back episodes of NCIS. Allan’s act has a beginning middle and an end, but the bits in between are a mix of comedy, improvisation and vocals, ranging from swing to modern ballads, making Allan's act a sure fire winner. Allan has performed all over the place from Margate to Malta. Performing to sell-out houses at the Theatre Royal Margate with his good friend, Lloyd Hollett, for five consecutive years. 03/04/09 Hi there, well this year looks like being a good one if the weather keeps up. I am pleased to announce that I have added two new venues this year, The Bancourt Hotel in Torquay and the Marine in Paignton. Been out for a few games of golf but as I mostly play with venue owners, I feel obliged to loose, as I might not get rebooked. It takes a lot of skill to play that badly. One of the things I plan for this year is to bring out a DVD so watch this space. Cheers Allan
29/09/08 Well hello it's been a busy year so far and thanks to all the people who made it so enjoyable. there will be announcements in the diary of the dates for next year with some new venues being added. Next year looks like being a bumper year with lots of exciting things happening I will keep you posted once the contracts are signed. Thanks to Andy and Karl at Pyramid Photography for the new photos great job folks. To my lovely wife Jenna thanks for your support and love and my three lovely daughters Isla, Stephanie and Kira. Stephanie is currently in the show at the Babbacombe theatre and loving every minute of it.
